While the narrative structure of the novel is in the third person, the overall structure is what is known as a schizo-text, a text that “presents a disjunctive synthesis of diverse and incompatible views. It can do this, finally, because of its underlying coherence as a specific regime of signs, or a structure not dependent upon any particular point of view, but on the endless proliferation of signs calling for endlessly repeatable acts of interpretation.”
