Why does Miller include it Sarah good's and Tituba talk about flying south?

We're really never apprised of why Miller includes this conversation in Act IV. Both characters have confessed, thus, it's hard to know whether he included this dialogue to make us question their confessions or to infer they truly believed themselves to be witches.
