Mary needs to testify that she made the poppet that was found in Elizabeth Proctor's house. She also needs to note that she was the one who put the needle inside of it and Ellizabeth had nothing at all to do with the doll until Mary gave it to Elizabeth. This revelation should free Elizabeth and thus could create a different outcome.
