What would be reasons for Thomas Putnam to accuse Abigail?

Are you certain he accused Abigail?

He did not, but if he were to accuse Abigail then what would he accuse her for? For example, his daughter cannot wake up because ofthe suspision of witchcraft in Salem that would be a reason to accuse Abigail for witchcraft.
