Proctor loses the respect of his wife when he admits to his affair with Abigail/ Hale wants to know why the youngest of the Proctor boys hasn't been baptized. There's also the doll and the needle made by Mary that led to accusations against Elizabeth. Elizabeth has always been beyond reproach, but the doll is in fact in her home.
