Abigail doesn't change as much as a person, as she changes in the eyes of the community, We know Abigail is a tough, young woman. She traveled to America alone, bore a child out of wedlock, and accepted her punishment with her head held high and without self pity. She is shunned by those around her...... gossiped about constantly, and yet, she stays in the community when it would be far easier to leave and start over somewhere else.

Abigail's actions; her helpfulness, charity, empathy, and kindness change the community's perception of her over time. The significance of the letter itself changes. Thus, in my opinion, Abigail has no significant moment. She stays the same but is eventually perceived differently.
