How does Ruth feel about her religion and traditions?

Ruth childhood is described in chapter 3. She has no affinity with her Jewish faith and traditions. This is mostly because her father,Tateh, was a Rabbi. He was a cruel and abusive man who enforced religion on the family with an iron hand.
