Do you think we repeat the cycles in which we are brought up, or can we break them? Explain.

This is a pretty detailed nature vs nurture question. How much does our environment affect our maturation? I do know our childhood shapes who we become. That being said, childhood need not identify us forever. Unfortunately, this is only a short-answer space and I can't give you a proper answer.
