What "assignment" does archie give the goober in chapter 5?

Archie assigns Goober the "Therapy" job, and tells him that he must make arrangements to stay out all night and bring a screwdriver. Goober is told to loosen all of the screws holding the furniture together in Room Nineteen at Trinity.
