Stepping on the Cracks

In Chapter 25, Holden begins to really get loopy. "Everytime I came to the end of a block and stepped of a gd curb, I had this feelign that I'd never get to the other side of the street." What does he do because of this? How would you psychologically diagnose him now?

Holden is one messed up kid...

I'm not a psycologist but it's not hard to tell that every crazy thing that Holden decideds to do eventually ties around into Allie and his stored up anger and depression. I still think that Holden needs more than any psycological drug or prescription just someone to talk to. Holden needs to come to terms with his loss and move on rather than let it govern his life.
