Students will research and report on Dostoevsky's religious views.
Common Core Standards:
"The Grand Inquisitor" may be one of the more central expositions of Dostoevsky's religious views. Although he was certainly a religious man, the specifics of his opinions may be difficult to surmise. For this activity, students will research the author's religious views and write a report on how those views are expressed within "The Grand Inquisitor," and The Brothers Karamazov as a whole.
