When Bruno questions Shmuel about Pavel, Shmuel responds that he doesn't know him. Bruno persists, giving Shmuel a full description and asks again. Shmuel then tells Bruno, "I don't think you realize just how many people live on this side of the fence....... There are thousands of us.
