Kitchen scene.Why Kotler was angry and said to Shmuel "How dare you talk to people in the house?"when he saw Bruno and Shmuel are talking ?And why he belived Bruno?
Kotler hates everybody but Jews in particular. Kotler was indoctrinated long ago into Nazi ideology. Kotler, like any bully, goes after the weakest. In this case he goes after Shmuel, a mere child. He thinks the Jewish "help" should not be talking to the host. Kotler really didn't care what Bruno said. He could not beat little Shmuel in Bruno's house but he could beat hil later at the camp.
