what is naive about Bruno's statement : " I don't see why I have to be stuck over here on this side of the fence where theres no one to talk to and no one to play with ?

Bruno's statement is naive because he, himself, is naive. He's just a little boy. He doesn't see prisoners on the other side of the fence..... he sees other children, and he simply wants to play.
