Bruno isn't yet old enough to really be a hypocrite. His defense of the "Fury" stems from his feelings of loyalty and pride in his father's position. Thus, on a personal level, he finds the man to be rude..... and yet, when the tables turn, and he's forced into a situation that reflects negatively on his own father.... loyalty takes precedence over personal opinion.
