How did the Hubermann's finacial situation reflect the general state of Germany's economy in 1930s?

Simply the Hubermans had no money which reflected the rest of Germany. Germany was bankrupt after WW1 from paying war reparations. This was part of the reason of Hitler's allure. He promised wealth and German superiority again.
