Liesel is a beautiful child. There is nothing ugly about her...... she's kind, caring, mischievious, smart, has a great desire to learn, and lives in a war torn mess, surrounded by death. She has lost her family..... she has a new life..... I see nothing ugly about her, except maybe some of the horrific memories she carries inside.
