I can provide you with on as an example. Death is often ironical and sarcastic in his humor. Himmel Street is supposed to mean "Heaven." Death, however, remarks that life on Himmel Street was not exactly blissful.

Whoever named Himmel Street has a healthy sense of irony. Not that it was a living hell. It wasn't. But it sure wasn't heaven, either. (Ch.5)
