Hans Jr. and his father do not get along. Liesel, on the other hand, would choose Hans before anyone else. Hans mocks his father's beliefs and feelings..... Liesel supports them. Hans supports and promotes all Nazi ideology, Liesel sees the effects and dangers of Nazism.
