Why did Taylor decide to drive Estevan and Esperanza to Oklahoma? Why was she at risk doing this?

Taylor decides she will transport Estevan and Esperanza to another sanctuary for illegal immigrants in Oklahoma. She risks being caught transporting illegals as well as well as being questioned about Turtle. Taylor wants Estevan and Esperanza to be safe and she also wants to look for Turtle's relatives.
