what does taylor mesan when she claims that it was a "conspiricy" that " everyone behaved as if turtle was(her) own flesh and blood daughter?

I don't think that Taylor would have taken any particular pride if Turtle had been her own baby. If anything Taylor would consider a husband and or father to Turtle a hindrance of not a down right liability. Taylor liked the fact that Turtle was from the "outside" now safe and secure with her.
