According to the AUTOBIOGRAPHY OF MALCOLM X, Lousise Little was born in the island of Grenada. The paents moved to Omaha. I recollect reading that Malcolm's father was from the south, where specifically, I would have to research. It is in the foreward by the eldest, Attallah Shabazz or may be located in the first chapter.
