The Attack

Is this based on the book or the movie?

I've read the book twice and have not found some of the items that are listed. Such as
1) "he remembers a scene in which Sihem was holding their little daughter in their arms and was singing to her". In the book Sihem's letter states "You wanted children. I wanted to deserve them. No child is completely safe if it has no country." There is no mention of a child in the book and this woman would not have wanted to conceive with this feeling. - Chapter 6
2) Kim is a doctor, Dr. Kim Yehuda, not a journalist as stated in the character listing - I submitted a correction - Chaper 1
3) There is no description of a scar on Sihem's face. "she hid her scars admirably well" these were the scars of growing up "among the oppressed, as an orphan and an Arab in a world that pardons neither." - Chapter 15
