    Character Analysis

    Objective:

    Students will analyze characters from the point of view of another character

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.1,CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.9-10.3

    Structure:

    In this activity, students will be analyzing different characters in the novel. To begin, create a list of all major characters in the novel as a class: Enzo, Denny, Eve, Zoë, Annika, Mike, Trish, and Maxwell (you might choose to have the grandparents represented as one character, "the Twins"). Once the master list is created, briefly review adjectives, coming up with a definition as a class. Adjectives are words that describe or modify another...
