    How does Confucius, or "the Master", introduce ideas and information in the section of the Analects that we’ve read thus far? Why is this “how” as important as the “what”, i.e. the content of the ideas themselves? Besides our own inferences, where in the text is it explicitly stated that the “how” of introducing ideas is important?

    For this question, students should note that Confucius was not just a Master, but a Master teacher, and he viewed his primary purpose to be that of transmission rather than merely self-practice.
