The Alchemist (Coelho)

What do the Alchemist’s words tell us

the Alchemist tells the boy that “love never keeps a man from pursuing his Personal Legend. If he abandons that pursuit, it’s because it wasn’t true love… the love that speaks the language of the world”

I think he means that love and pursuit of one's personal legend go hand and hand. They should be a part of each other and not a choice to be made between the two.
