The widow continues on to say that she intends to provide Huck with a home, an education, and a career. Presently, Tom blurts out: "Huck don't need it. Huck's rich." In response to everyone's laughter, Tom proceeds to drag the wagon from outside and uncover the bags of money: half of it his, and the other half belonging to Huck.
