H how did Tom introduce himself at first

I'm not sure what you mean bu "introduce" himself in chapter 15. Tom is hiding under Aunt Polly's bed. Touched and full of pity for the old woman, Tom finally steals out from under the bed when Polly is finally asleep and kisses her on the lips.
