The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn

It is better to follow laws, even if we don't agree with them? Are some laws okay to break while others are not?

his question does relate to Huck.  Huck does laws but in many cases the laws of the American South are unjust and brutally wrong. Huck has his own moral code which is often at odds with Southern culture. Helping Jim (the escaped slave) is an example of how Huck breaks the laws. Huck is perplexed for much of the novel over this but knows Jim should be free and slavery, on some level, is wrong.
