The Mississippi River town of St. Petersburg
Oh, also Huck lives with the Widow Douglas and her sister Ms. Watson in a proper house. They are attempting to civilize Huck.
I think I just answered this........... it's night time; it's late; and the stars are shining brightly. The air is filled with night noises........ owls howling, dogs crying, whippowils singing, and the ticking of a clock. The sounds make Huck nervous; they make him think of death and dying........... he has quite the imagination......... bad luck, ect., and then comes the cat.......... a man made noise. It's Tom.
