I'd hate to be the one to ruin such a classic with my own ending. Still if I had to come up with one I might make the ending darker. Jim would not be free after all and be taken away. Huck would be deemed a traitor to his own race and shunned. Tom would have actually died from the gunshot wound. Yes, I know it's all very dark and depressing but it is an alternate ending.
