Nearly 95% of all the generated confidence intervals will have the true value of population parameter. 95 of the 100 random sample contain the value of the population mean within their range. The 100 random samples that are generated have been shown in the Minitab output sheet. On observing all the 100 samples, it can be noticed that 99% of them include the value of population parameter within their range. Only 1 out of 100 confidence intervals do not have the value of the parameter of population. The number of confidence intervals comprising the value of population mean has increased with an increase in the size of the sample.
