In MINITAB, enter the x values in C1 and in C2 enter the y values (with the additional data point). Select Stats -> Basic Statistics -> Correlation In "Variables" enter C1 C2. You may deselect "Display p-values". The correlation between x and y will be given. $r=0.860$
