A dot plot represents continuous and quantitative data plotted on a simple scale. A dot plot is constructed in Minitab and the steps involved are as follows:
Step 1: Enter the data of the waiting time in worksheet under C1 column.
Step 2: Go to Graph menu in the menu bar and select dot plot.
Step 3: A new dialog box is created of the dot plot; put waiting time under graph variables and click ok.
The dot plot is nearly symmetric (bellshaped).
