Since OWNER and PET are both represented in the same table, you will have several modification problems. To begin with, you have a potential for redundancy because some owners may have more than 1 pet, meaning you have to enter their data twice. In this table, you can see that Ricard James has three pets, meaning his data has to be entered correctly three times. Secondly, if you have to change the information for an owner, you have to change it in multiple fields. Finally, there is no way to enter customer information if they do not have a pet.
