A trinomial is an expression containing three terms. The prefix "tri" means three, and "nomial" means "term." Thus, a trinomial is an expression with three terms. A perfect square is an expression in which the first and last terms are perfect squares. Meaning that their square root gives an integer whole number answer. For example, 4 is a perfect square because 2 x 2=4
