What was your first and final impression of Joey Costello

I thought Joe was refreshing after all the negative characters in this book. He seemed to have a heart and empathy. When Mike was hit by lightning, Mike's brother, Joey Costello, took Mike's shoes off on the field because he said that Mike always felt better without his shoes. Joey was trying to comfort his brother after lightening hit him. Later Joey would help Paul report Arthur and Erik to the police.
