(Book 2 Chapters 17-20) During his relapse, what does Mr. Lorry do to try to bring Dr. Manette back to reality? What brought Mr. Lorry a ray of hope? How long does this last?

Mr. Lorry tries to ask Dr. Manette questions while Manette goes through the motions of making shoes. Eventually Mr. Lorry takes time off from the bank and sits in front of Dr. Manette in silence as a protest to Manette’s delusions. After nine days Mr. Lorry wakes up to find Dr.Manette has put down his tools and is talking again.
