Synecdoche

A part of something that is used to refer to a whole thing

Meager

Something that's inadequate

Transience

Lasting for only a small amount of time

Virulent

Evil, destructive, viscious

anti-Semite

Someone hates Jewish people.

Snuff

(In context of the film) A genre of film which claims to show the real homicide or suicide of someone in the film.

Degradation

The act of breaking down and humilating someone/something.

Faerie

A fairyland

Antistasis

A rhetorical device in which the repetition of a word/string of words is used in a contradictory way.

Chimera

A mythical female monster with a lion's head, a goat's body, and the tail of a serpent.
