What are the similarities between Chance and Princess?

In what ways, and with what effects, does williams dramatise similarities between Chance and Princess in the play?

Chance and Princess are very much alike. They are both amoral characters, who lose themselves in sex, alcohol, and pills. They each cling to memories of things past, things they cannot recapture. Princess and Chance also bemoan the lost years of their youth, as the nove progresses they both become older, and they both have difficulty accepting the natural progress of aging. In the end, however, Princess rises above her problems when she gets a second chance at fame. She moves on, and Chance sadly comes to a tragic end.
