Speak, Memory Background

Speak, Memory is an autobiographical memoir by the Russian author Vladimir Nabokov. The book was not published in a set year, rather released in short segments of stories published from 1936 to 1951. The book mainly talks about the life of Nabokov before he came to America, which would be set in the time period of 1899 to 1940. This truly is an amazing memoir collection that has unique stories from a country we have regarded in many ways over the years.
