What happens to Gawain at the Lord’s castle?

Gawain is welcomed to the Lord's castle and invited to stay. He is lavished with gifts and fine clothing, admired by the guests as a man of honor, and stays at the castle for six days. While there, the Lord's beautiful wife repeatedly tries to seduce Gawain and gives him gifts.
