Both narratives but differ in plot, form, and style. While Gawain is an example of the standard quest narrative, Don Quixote is a satire of the common quest narrative. Gawain treats chivalry and knight's honor seriously while Don Quixote examines the lofty and unrealistic spirit of the brave and honorable knight. I encourage you to check out both titles in GradeSaver to compare and contrast them.
