how in you opinion did george eliot build up the chapter16 in discussing eppie's marriage especially to Aaron winthrop?

There's always a bit of build up, especially when you consider we all know that Eppie is NOT going to leave Silas behind. It's a good marriaqge for her..... but there will be revelations...... that's for sure.
