A rose for emily

In order to really understand Miss Emily and the horrible crime she committed, we have to see her early history. Every detail leads to the ending in which she becomes a woman who will not be cheated on by anyone, regardless of what she has to do to keep someone faithful. Her father and the way he protected her made her somewhat inaccessible until Homer Barron came along.
