what is ineffective in the story?
like literary devices. or any component of the story that didnt work well?

I'm not sure about the literary devices, but I did not enjoy the large amount of information the author attempted to cram into such a short novel (my opinion). Outside of the enormous lapses in time, I thought it was a decent read.
