    Objective:

    Students will fill out a character map of the novel's main characters.

    Common Core Standards:

    CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RL.9-10.3

    Structure:

    Sense and Sensibility is full of characters, many of whom share names (e.g., Mrs. Dashwood and Mrs. John Dashwood). As a result, it can become difficult to keep track of who's who as we make our way through the novel. In order to make reading the book easier, students will fill out a character map that details the fundamental qualities and relationships between the primary characters, who we meet in today's reading.
