Self Reliance and Other Essays

How can I write a 600 word purely descriptive essay on my given "inspirational" sources?

My sources are:

1. "Life is like riding a bicicle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving."

2. The Other Shoe

3. Two roads diverged in a wood, and I-

I took the once less traveled by,

And that has made all the difference.

4. Nine

The rule is that I can use these as the opening or closing line or the title. But I don't know how to write that many words on, for example, number 1 without introducing a storyline, which dooms my essay to be narrative descriptive.

Please help me, every time I have tried it turned into a narrative descriptive or just overly descriptive.
