The man is deprived; hence, he is deficient of satisfactory cattle to disburse dowry for his lover.

The Speaker: “My Husband’s Tongue is Bitter”

The speaker is a woman who is aggrieved by her husband’s affronts. She sponsors traditionalism which makes her husband to regard her as regressive.

Ocol: “My Husband’s Tongue is Bitter”

The narcissistic husband degrades his spouse and her parents using English (a language they ostensibly do not grasp) because he is certain that he is sophisticated.
