Why can Göth not kiss Helene even though he would like to? Do you remember what he says in that scene? Why do you think he's beating her instead? Do you remember what Oskar said to Helene about what he thinks Göth feels for her? Why does Göth let Oskar Schindler buy out Helene and thus save her life?

I saw this film so long ago. I know that Göth was a terribly conflicted character. He was taught to hate Jews yet he is sexually attracted to Helen who is a Jew. He wants to kiss her and beat her at the same time. This juxtaposition torments him.
